Fashion Police @ The Everleigh

Last Thursday, CityEvents and Shanny in The City hosted Fashion Police at the Everleigh.  It was quite a night.  Last call was extended til 4AM because it was ‘Fashion Week’ and the after parties are semi political and supersede municipal morality codes. Seriously though this was a good party filled with super fashionable people.

Below is Bassem Ghali of Green Lotus web business tools, one of Rob’s friends and business acquaintances.  We’re doing a digital handshake. This is what networking in a music club looks like in a flash photo.

Deb Lewis and Shanny always come through with a packed event which is perfect for maximum networking… as seen here lol.

Bumping into key influencers ; like this soft spoken gentle giant who hangs out with Hollywood movie stars when they’re in town shooting movies, what’s up Ken Bryan  ! 4Tune

Of course my best friend PJ Phil was there too. I always bump into him in places like this (whatever that means) where he is surrounded by party revelers holding court.

We should have stayed longer; it was fun.

Thirsty Thursdays are legendary in Toronto. “Corporate Thursday” are when things happen. It’s a meat market night catch my drift?? Beware the married men though. Lots of hot single women I met too it has my mind thinking up an event or two to put together myself. Matchmaking is a mega-industry in Toronto.

Do you wanna know the dumb thing I said to her or not?

Guess their profession?

Wedding planners. They’re multiplying!

Sari and I posing for a moment. She’s available fyi :).

Phil and I have been hanging for years. I can’t even count. I tried to get him out to Burlington once for a pool party to impress all my friends LOL.

So cool right now.

Part of going out and enjoying yourself is looking nice, dressing nice. It’s fashion week afterall. I am getting FOMO from writing this post right now what is happening tonight? I know we are going to Deb lewis’ Halloween party at The Lodge this Halloween for sure and MAYBE Ken Bryan’s Science Center party too!!!

You should check it out if you don’t have a plan for the night yet. The Lodge is amazing, two floors of fun!

My first time at the Everleigh what a beautiful space. Great art. I love the bathrooms, the long canoe sink and evergreen trees like the great outdoors. I’ll have to check out the men’s room at some point.

Very good talent found at these such events, yes? Me trying to fit in with them.

These haunting streetcar tracks run into nowhere and the vintage newspaper ads are pure nostalgia.

Pre-drinks at Bier Market because we were early (for once) to The Fashion Police party. Trying to decide who is the prettier one, me or him. Thanks for tagging along Toronto see you next time!

The cat always comes back though.
