Raymi Meets Dr Archer, Best Dentist in Toronto
On Tuesday July 23rd 205, I got a check-up and mini dental makeover by Toronto dentist Dr Natalie Archer at Archer Dental on the 8th floor of the medical building at 600 Sherbourne St which is literally right across from the Sherbourne Subway St.
Archer Dental is amazing. The clinic waiting room has a bubble wall that glows a few different colours while you wait your turn. The magazines are up to date and Dr. Archer’s staff are mega-friendly, I loved getting to know them all.
You’ll note I’m wearing different clothes here. This is the second time I visited Dr. Archer to have my filling filled. Good times!
Just a little paper work and I was on my way.
That’s Michael, the soft spoken office manager who helps out in the operating theaters doing the book work of the oral exams. While Jen the oral hygienist called out a series of nonsensical numbers, he recorded them on a digital chart seen below. Together they measured the height of my gums and the amount of tooth showing – my numbers are mostly 2s nd 3s, thank goodness. I somehow get the impression that the lower the number, the better , healthier mouth you have.. and I want to have and keep fresh a healthy mouth.
My teeth are important to me.
When I left the dental office I was given a care package of a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste, and the confidence of knowing I’m in the pink for another few months.
