Bathing Belle Swimwear Designer Danica Salajko

I visited with Danica Salajko of Bathing Belle swimwear mid-July and was custom-fitted for one of her designer swimsuits, and we also used the opportunity to take photos of ourselves wearing her bathing suits up in the hot sun on her deck.

Danica Salajko is the designer/owner of Bathing Belle Swimwear and she has been making swimwear since she was fourteen years old, at her mother’s custom swimwear shop.

When designing, Danica knows women’s body types vary, especially from the space between their neck and their hips, and so she is a bit of a guru when it comes to creating each piece. I know this because Danica created the perfect suit for one of my Little Raymis this summer with a custom-made ice cream two piece bathing belle suit (my contest winner!) and collectively we cannot get over how amazing Kathryn looks in it.

Bathing Belle designs are a twist on vintage silhouettes that play with colour and cut-outs to give a modern edge.
